I am a painter and a member of the artist collective Multinektar. I graduated with a BA in Painting from the Pallas University of Applied Sciences (2025) and work as a freelance painter based at the Aparaaditehas Creative City in Tartu.
In 2024, I was awarded the Hotel Pallas Painting Scholarship, which culminated in my solo exhibition Shared Space at the Tartu Art House. I actively participate in Estonian art auctions and the collective’s group exhibitions. Since 2026, I have been a member of the Tartu Artists’ Union.
My artistic practice centres on photorealistic oil paintings. As an advocate for both human and animal rights, I am interested in the paradoxes of a dualistic world and the contradictions inherent in human nature. My paintings bring together ethical themes and minimalist aesthetics. Visually, this is expressed through the juxtaposition of contrasting colours and forms, alongside subtle distortions of reality. Tension and balance are recurring elements in my compositions. I am drawn to these contrasts because where tension exists, there is also an opportunity to learn how to resolve it.
In my painting practice, I strive to avoid art materials that contain animal-derived components. I use synthetic brushes and vegan-certified water-mixable oil paints, allowing me to eliminate the use of solvents as well.
During the summer of 2026, my work can be seen at the exhibition SMS. WIFI. OK. Baltic New Painting at the Viscosa Cultural Factory on Hiiumaa (until 30 October 2026), and at the group exhibition N05 by the artist collective Multinektar at the Promenaadiviis Cultural Club in Tartu (until 30 August 2026).
From 31 July to 30 August 2026, Multinektar presents the group exhibition Prn*. An Exhibition of Eroticism* in the Great Hall of the Tartu Art House, featuring invited artists from both within and outside the collective.
My upcoming duo exhibition Breakthrough, created together with Krete Erlenhein, will be on view at Art&Tonic Gallery from 19 August to 30 September 2026.
